SURC 2025/26

The Henley Womens Regatta Campaign 2026

As the last major event of the year our senior women attended HWR. Bringing along 3 crews, qualifying in each respective event, which is the first time since 2013! More history was made with the 1x being the first ever Swansea crew to make a semi-final at HWR! We thoroughly look forward to building on this strong performance in the years to come.

We also hosted our annual alumni event at HRR and it was great to see such a big swansea turn-out, we'll be back in the cricket club next year if you weren't able to attend this year. At our alumni event we also released the Alumni whatsapp community get in touch to be added.

BUCS regatta

This year the club took 47 athletes and 17 crews to BUCS. Every squad came out with great results to show the hard work that has been put in by our members this year. A full breakdown of results can be found on the instagram page so head over to have a look.

The Welsh Boat race 2026

Swansea was the overall Winner of The Welsh Varsity Boat Race!
Swansea 5 - 0 Cardiff

To start the day, our Novice Women put in a superb performance, racing Cardiff right to the line to take home the first win of the day.
Next up were the Novice Men, who came out on top after an excellent performance for Swansea’s second win on the day. A Win in the Alumni race showed the strength of our past members. The Senior Women put in an absolute effort and made history with their first ever varsity win. To finish the day off, Swansea’s Senior Men took the final win extending their winning streak to 11 years.
